This is the scene on I-95 NB approaching the 6th Avenue exit at 6:48 a.m. It’s bad. (FDOT).

UPDATE at 7:28 a.m. — Traffic is now moving. Slowly, but moving. The scene is clearing but expect delays to continue for at least a little while this morning.

UPDATE at 6:25 a.m: The is a fatal crash that was first reported shortly after 3 a.m. Expect the closure to continue for quite some time — this is standard after a fatality.

FDOT traffic cameras in the area show a huge backup that is growing. The incident is the area of 10th Avenue. The delays start well before that exit.
