Take A Deep Breath. You See Military Jets Over Boca Because It’s Seconds, By Air, From Mar-A-Lago.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — President Trump is back at Mar-A-Lago this weekend. That means you can expect to hear — and see — military jets and helicopters from north Broward County to well north of West Palm Beach.
The presence of military apparatus does not mean there is an imminent threat or a problem. Even so, we know that scores of you will take to Next Door and the Ring “neighbors” app to proclaim the end of the world is here. Each and every time the President is in Palm Beach County, we are inundated with calls, texts, and emails asking why there are helicopters. Why there are military jets. Why there are federal vehicles in the area.
For those of you who insist on posting and questioning why you would see planes over Boca Raton if the President is in Palm Beach, here’s the simple answer: it’s roughly 20 miles from Boca to Palm Beach. That’s seconds in a fighter jet. Slightly longer — but not much longer — in a military chopper.
No one is attacking South Florida. No one is attacking Boca Raton, Delray Beach, or Boynton Beach. Go on with your day. If you’re thinking about posting a panicked message to social media because you see something military-related, we suggest that you go get ice cream instead.
