BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — It’s no Kings Point — where nearly 100 residents have been arrested since 2023 — but Century Village from time to time also has residents who end up in jail. Case in point: Fausto Ortiz.
Ortiz was taken into custody on March 11th after allegedly pointing a gun at his Century Village neighbor during a dispute about water leakage from one unit into another. It turned out the gun was a BB gun, but it was enough for a significant police response to take Ortiz into custody.
Fausto Ortiz, 56, was booked into the Palm Beach County on a charge of “Assault — aggravated with intent to commit a felony.” He was held on $10,000 bond which was posted on Saturday. A court date is now pending.
Ortiz lists the Preston section of Century Village Boca Raton as his home address.
