BOCA RUDETON: Watch As Drivers Blow Through Stop Sign Near Kings Point

Kings Point Delray Beach Boca Rudeton

Publix At Linton And Jog In Delray Beach. Our Cameras Were Rolling…

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you shop at the Publix near the senior living community of Kings Point, you may want to be extra careful. Our cameras were rolling as driver after driver blew through a stop sign and right into parking lot traffic.

Watch as driver after driver ignores the stop sign at the Publix near Kings Point in Delray Beach.

The astonishing video shows just how unaware drivers are of simple things like stop signs. We’ve highlighted the stop sign in the video so you can see exactly where it is. Drivers, however, shouldn’t need a red arrow pointing to the stop sign that they’re supposed to see.

The Publix, at Linton and Jog, is a somewhat regular recipient of police and fire-rescue services for incidents often involving vehicles. While one could argue that the driveway and parking lot are both private property, that doesn’t negate the need to follow traffic laws. The specific location is the driveway that connects Linton Boulevard to Drexel Park to the Addison Center Publix parking lot. It’s used by shoppers entering Publix from Linton — especially drivers heading westbound hoping to avoid a left turn on Jog.

  1. Same is true at Palmetto Park Square Publix. They don’t stop unless someone is in the crosswalk and they have to. Recently I was in the crosswalk, and this guy in a convertible with the top down went right past me. I said “dude, you just ran a stop sign”. I hope he heard me, but it probably wouldn’t have mattered. 🤬

  2. Same in downtown Boca on SE 1st Street and all thru Royal Palm Plaza. Some drivers barely even slow down! It’s not like there are pedestrians walking around downtown!
If you let them know they ran a stop sign, you get the middle finger.

  3. I haven’t been there in awhile, stop sign was always coming out of Publix the entrance you’re showing is either for Walgreens on the right or Publix on the left there was never a stop sign entering.

  4. Just to be clear, if I’m correctly recognizing the view, this is the Publix at Addison Centre.

If so, these drivers aren’t entering the parking lot directly from Linton; instead, they’ve already turned from Linton into a driveway, and are now turning right, from the driveway into the Publix parking lot. So they should have slowed down to turn into the driveway, and therefore shouldn’t have any problem seeing, and obeying, the stop sign!

  5. It continues to disgust me how many people totally disregard stop signs in parking lots .
They are there for the safety of the public, both pedestrians and motorists alike .
Yet many drivers ignore them .
A person must have their head on a swivel when navigating a parking lot on foot or behind the wheel.

  6. The unorganized traffic patterns in Royal Palm Place has continually placing the pedestrian in danger . From drivers ignoring the stop signs to parked cars in traffic lanes and fire lanes thus blocking the view of incoming traffic truly deserves a deeper look.. my family and I think twice before crossing some of these intersections.. we deserve better .

  7. These drivers don’t realize that many people (like me) have dash cams. They further don’t realize that if they hurt or kill someone with their self-entitled driving habits, many people (like me) will be happy to provide authorities with video evidence that ensures a conviction and successful liability lawsuits.
