BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Palm Beach County Fire Rescue is on the scene at West Boca High were there’s a weird odor in the cafeteria. That’s not a joke. The cafeteria was evacuated but no one was injured or reported being ill.
First responders, according to information received by BocaNewsNow.com, believe that the odor is coming from a generator that is (or was) being tested.
School is continuing as expected. Students in the cafeteria were told to go outside or to other parts of the very large high school building.
Check back for updates, but again: don’t worry about the emergency vehicles you may see at West Boca High. Everything is under control. And no, we don’t know what was being served in the lunch line.
