Next Of Kin Still Doesn’t Know About Death As Of Monday Afternoon.

GREENACRES, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help after a bicyclist was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash early Monday morning in Greenacres. The crash happened just before 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of 10th Avenue North and Perry Avenue.
According to PBSO in statement issued to BocaNewsNow.com, the bicyclist was riding westbound on 10th Avenue North in the bicycle lane when a vehicle traveling in the same direction struck him from behind. The front passenger’s side corner of the vehicle hit the bicyclist, sending him into the northwest corner of the intersection, where he came to rest on the grass shoulder. The driver did not stop, continuing westbound on 10th Avenue North and fleeing the area.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded and pronounced the bicyclist dead at the scene at 5:31 a.m. Based on parts recovered at the crash scene, investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a black 2020–2026 Kia Sorento X-Line. The victim’s next of kin had not been notified as of the release of this report.
