BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Several tipsters are telling BocaNewsNow.com around 6:15 a.m. Tuesday that the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is on scene in the area of the Florida Turnpike and Glades Road. They are apparently searching for people who are throwing rocks from the overpass and hitting cars.

We are unaware of any injuries at this point. We also do not know how many — if any — cars were actually hit. There is no immediate description of who police are looking for.

Expect traffic issues in the area. We are awaiting an update from PBSO. If you have additional information or happen to have had a car hit by the rocks, please reach out to us by calling or texting 561-576-NEWS, or use our contact channels above.
