BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Palm Beach County officials Friday announced that they are investigating a series of mail delivery issues in new communities across Palm Beach County. While focused on the Arden community, officials say many areas of expansion are facing issues. This is the official statement transmitted to BocaNewsNow.com:
>> Some residents in a portion of the Arden community, in western Palm Beach County, are experiencing a prolonged disruption in mail and package delivery affecting several hundred homes, stemming from a mismatch between the community’s expansion and previously established delivery agreements with the United States Postal Service. While earlier phases of the development receive standard curbside delivery, later-built homes were not included in the original service plan and currently lack approved centralized mailbox infrastructure required under USPS policy. As a result, impacted residents have been forced to travel to a local post office to retrieve mail and packages, creating significant inconvenience and raising concerns about planning coordination, infrastructure readiness, and equitable access to essential services.
Residents in other parts of Palm Beach County and similar fast-growing communities across Florida may be experiencing a range of mail delivery challenges tied to development patterns, infrastructure gaps and new addresses not being recognized in postal or delivery databases—preventing carriers from completing deliveries.
Palm Beach County is working to connect residents with our federal representatives in hopes that they can assist with these issues. The Federal Privacy Act requires every constituent request for assistance to begin with completion of a Privacy Act Consent Form.
