BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — In a surprise to no one, the annual boozefest known as “Boca Bash” has led to multiple people needing emergency medical care throughout the day. BocaNewsNow.com has learned that paramedics and other firsr responders stationed at or near Lake Boca have been busy.
Among the apparent ailments according to sources: a number of people drinking way too much and passing out, feeling ill, or otherwise experiencing the effects of immaturity. Some of those seeking medical care have been hospitalized.
“Boca Bash” is a private occurrence — NOT sponsored by the City of Boca Raton — that many try to ignore. However, park closures, traffic, and noise make that somewhat of an impossibility. The City of Boca Raton tends to call it an “event.” Other cities — when announcing boat ramps closures — called it “an event in another city.”
Boca Bash tends to attract the disgusting people who enjoy drinking all day on boats and doing stupid things, on a lake, often in violation of Florida law. On that note, we’ll publish all of the BWI/BUI and drug arrests (if there are any) on Monday.
