BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The air quality in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and much of Palm Beach County remains good Monday morning as wildfires continue to burn statewide.
As of early Monday, 107 wildfires are burning across the state. Nearly 16,000 acres are on fire or are in various stages of fire suppression. Most of the fires are north of the Orlando area. Palm Beach County last week announced it was sending firefighters to help battle blazes across the state.
In Palm Beach County, a burn ban was lifted several weeks ago but fire concern remains. The region remains in “moderate,” “severe,” and “extreme” levels of drought, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor
