DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The French Bakery at 814 NE 6th Avenue in Delray Beach received multiple violations during a health inspection on May 1st. Two led to “administrative complaints” filed by the health inspector and recorded by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

High Priority – Heat strip failed to turn black to indicate the sanitization temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit was achieved on the dish surface and/or high temperature holding thermometer did not reach 160F. Discontinue use of dishmachine for sanitizing and set up manual sanitization until dishmachine is repaired… Took temperatures with probe thermometer temperature 143F **Repeat Violation** ** Admin Complaint**

Intermediate – Food being cooled by nonapproved method as evidenced by inadequate rate of cooling during time of inspection. Observed cooling ham 46F, turkey 46F in reach in drawer. Took another temperature about 45 minutes it is ham 45F, turkey 45F . Employee removed food to freezer to chill fast. **Corrective Action Taken**
