BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Raton woman was allegedly more than twice the legal limit for blood alcohol content when she arrested early Saturday morning by Boca Raton Police. According to an arrest report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, Diana Sabatini of North ocean Boulevard was weaving her white Mercedes between lanes on East Palmetto Park Road. She stopped the vehicle — with police behind her — at 499 East Palmetto Park Road.

An officer, according to the arrest report, was heading eastbound on East Palmetto Park Road when he observed Sabatini’s Mercedes-Benz failing to maintain its lane and traveling in the middle of two lanes of travel. After conducting a traffic stop, the officer noted that Sabatini lost her balance and leaned against the vehicle when asked to step out, and that her eyes appeared bloodshot and watery. She told the officer she had consumed “a couple drinks.” Officers detected a strong odor of alcohol both inside the vehicle and on Sabatini’s person.

Sabatini was asked to perform a series of Field Sobriety Exercises, which she agreed to. According to the affidavit, she had issues completing many of them. Sabatini then submitted to a breath test which allegedly returned results of .173 and .167 — more than twice Florida’s legal limit of .08.

Sabatini was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on May 3rd at 5:21 a.m. and later released on $1,000 bond. A court date is pending.
