BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A South Florida woman accused of participating in a large-scale organized retail theft ring targeting CVS and Walgreens stores across multiple counties has been ordered held on a $100,000 bond, according to court records reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com. Investigators say Nayeli Corrales was part of a crew accused of stealing thousands of dollars in cosmetics and facial beauty products from stores in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Lake counties.
Corrales and two other women allegedly traveled from store to store between October 2025 and February 2026, concealing makeup and skincare products in purses and bags before leaving without paying. Authorities claim the thefts involved hundreds of items from brands including Maybelline, NYX, L’Oreal and ELF. Detectives documented incidents in Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Weston, Coral Springs, Hollywood and other cities.
Police say surveillance teams and vehicle tracking devices were used during the investigation after multiple agencies linked the suspects to a pattern of organized retail thefts. Investigators allege Corrales frequently worked in coordination with Vanessa Equsquiza and Wilshaye Davis, using large purses and shopping bags to conceal merchandise before quickly leaving stores. Court and investigative documents accuse the group of stealing well over $95,000 in merchandise during a 120-day period.

Corrales faces a charge of organized retail theft under Florida law. She was arrested in late April — bond was set at $100,000. She remains locked up as of May 11th.
