Sandra Sparber Friedman was struck just after 1 p.m. on May 14 outside her home on Planters Point Drive. The front right of the SUV hit her.
Friedman was thrown to the ground and complained of hip pain at the scene. She was taken to Delray Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 2:35 p.m.
No charges have been filed. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the crash.
