BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Office has earned national recognition, receiving a 2025 Clearinghouse Award from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission for a homegrown technology program that transformed how the county tracks election night results. The office took top honors in the Security category for Innovation and New Tools in Election Security and Technology. Winners were just announced.

The award spotlights the office’s Election Night Transmission Monitoring Dashboard, a system designed and built in-house using existing tools and staff expertise. Before the dashboard existed, election workers were juggling manual spreadsheets, phone calls, and fragmented reporting to keep tabs on incoming results. The new system gives administrators a live, centralized view of transmissions from all 377 voting locations across the county, automatically processing data, updating a live map, and flagging locations that may need follow-up — all in real time.

“Palm Beach County is committed to continually improving the security, transparency, and efficiency of our election processes,” said Wendy Sartory Link, Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections. “This recognition reflects the incredible work of our staff and their commitment to developing innovative solutions that strengthen election administration, while improving communication and operational awareness on election night.”

The EAC recognized the project for its innovation, cost-effectiveness, and potential for replication by election offices of all sizes. This year’s Clearinghouse Awards — known informally as “Clearies” — drew nearly 200 submissions from jurisdictions nationwide, with winners selected based on innovation, sustainability, and measurable impact.

The awards are part of the EAC’s mission under the Help America Vote Act to share election administration best practices across the country. More information is available at EAC.gov and VotePalmBeach.gov.
