Husband Of Ex-Whispering Pines Elementary Principal Still Prosecuted On Child Sex Charges.

BY: ANDREW COLTON | Editor and Publisher | BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The charges have changed but the theme has not: former Palm Beach County School District educator Norman Riemer remains charged with multiple child sex crimes following his arrest in late April of 2025. Riemer is the husband of ex-Whispering Pines Elementary School (Boca Raton) Principal Barbara Riemer.
Norman Riemer remains charged with two counts of Lewd and Lascivious Exhibition. A court session today did nothing to resolve the charges. A judge set a “status check” for July 7th.
As we reported following his arrest, Norman Riemer, 54 at the time, was accused of sexual contact with two elementary-aged children who were in the Lake Worth home he shares with his wife. Norman Riemer allegedly told the girls that they should touch his private part as part of a science experiment. He was fired from the Palm Beach County School District hours after we published an article confirming his arrest.
Norman Riemer was held in the Palm Beach County Jail for months before being released on bond. There was no allegation at the time then — or concern now — that there are additional victims. Riemer’s attorneys have successfully had the charges reduced from three counts of “molestation of a minor under age 12” to “lewd and lascivious exhibition.” The reduced charges are still felonies that carry up to 15 years in prison. The original charges carried the potential of life behind bars.
Riemer is represented by noted defense attorney Tyler DiMaio of the Suskauer Law Firm in West Palm Beach. He has routinely declined to comment on his client’s case.
