ONE PERSON FOUND PINNED UNDER VEHICLE.

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A woman is dead and three people are hospitalized after a violent three-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Deerfield Beach that left an SUV completely destroyed — its engine and front axle ripped away and scattered across the intersection. Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit detectives are investigating, and excessive speed is considered a contributing factor.
As BocaNewsNow.com first reported shortly after impact, the crash happened around 1:39 p.m. Tuesday on Northeast Third Avenue.
Investigators now tell BocaNewsNow.com that Jean Claude Saint Cyr was driving a 2023 Land Rover Discovery northbound when he slammed into a 2023 Nissan Rogue that was stopped at the intersection of Northeast 44th Street. The impact sent the Land Rover careening into southbound lanes, where it struck a 2015 Nissan NV2000 that had also stopped at the intersection. The Land Rover then tumbled and rolled in a northwest direction before coming to rest near the sidewalk on the west side of Northeast Third Avenue, north of Northeast 44th Street. The Land Rover’s entire front axle was ripped off during the collision, and the engine was ejected, coming to rest at the intersection of Northeast 44th Court.
The Nissan Rogue — driven by Antwon Nahshon Brand, the sole occupant — rolled after being struck and came to rest against the front porch of a residence on the northeast corner of the intersection. Brand was ejected and found near the porch, partially pinned under the vehicle. The Land Rover’s passenger, Fedeline Alexis Saint Cyr, was also ejected as the vehicle rolled. The Nissan NV2000 was launched backward, coming to rest in the southbound lanes.
Fedeline Alexis Saint Cyr was pronounced dead at the scene. The three drivers were transported to Broward Health North for treatment. Charges are pending as the investigation continues.
