BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — We know that “gross” and “disgusting” are two words normally unacceptable on Long Island, so we wonder why Long Island Bagel and Deli at 21667 State Road 7 in West Boca seemingly felt it was okay to be both here in South Florida.

Long Island Bagel and Deli was cited for 19 health code violations during an inspection on Friday, then ten violations on Saturday. Per BocaNewsNow.com policy, here is the unedited list of violations logged on Friday, May 29, 2026, with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation:

High Priority – Dishmachine chlorine sanitizer not at proper minimum strength. Discontinue use of dishmachine for sanitizing and set up manual sanitization until dishmachine is repaired and sanitizing properly. Dishwasher at 0 chlorine ppm **Warning**
