A Royal Palm Beach man is dead after slamming his motorcycle in the rear of a BMW.

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Royal Palm Beach man is dead following a crash Saturday night on State Road 7 in Royal Palm Beach. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as Albert Humphrey, 39, of Royal Palm Beach.

According to a statement issued to BocaNewsNow.com by PBSO, the crash occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 7 and Victoria Groves Boulevard. Humphrey was traveling southbound on State Road 7 in the inside center lane when a 2022 BMW SUV, driven by Shahmalini Waeen, 55, of Wellington, turned from northbound SR-7 into his path.

The front of Humphrey’s 2022 Suzuki motorcycle struck the rear of the BMW. Humphrey was ejected from the motorcycle and traveled more than 200 feet before coming to rest. The motorcycle separated into multiple pieces. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue transported him to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:10 p.m.

Waeen, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor injuries. No charges had been filed as of the time of this report. Investigators from the PBSO Traffic Division are continuing to investigate the crash. Next of kin has been notified.
