BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boynton Beach woman is facing an “aggravated battery with a deadly weapon charge” after she allegedly attacked her boyfriend with a knife and a BBQ fork during a domestic dispute, leaving him with lacerations and puncture wounds across his upper body, according to the Boynton Beach Police Department.
Taylor Cruz Harden, 21, was taken into on May 27, 2026, at her apartment in the 2400 block of SW 19th Ave. According to the arrest report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, the victim called 911 to report that the woman had stabbed him. He told officers he had come to Harden’s apartment and the two began arguing after he saw a photo on her phone and questioned her about it. When he tried to leave, he said Harden went to the kitchen, retrieved a knife and a BBQ fork, and began cutting and stabbing him. He suffered multiple lacerations and small puncture wounds consistent with his account, and was treated at the scene by Boynton Beach Fire Rescue before being transported to Bethesda Memorial Hospital.
Harden gave investigators a different account, telling officers that the victim became the aggressor — throwing her around and destroying her room — and that she armed herself in self-defense. She acknowledged going to the kitchen to retrieve a knife but said she was acting to protect herself. Officers noted the apartment was in significant disarray, with broken items and blood throughout the room and extending into the kitchen area. The couple had been in an on-and-off relationship for approximately six years, according to the affidavit.

Harden was arrested, jailed, and held on $20,000 bond which was ultimately posted. A court date is pending.
