ST. ANDREW’S TEACHER CHARGED: You Must Read The Federal Affidavit In Patrick Russell Arrest

Saint Andrew's Teacher Arrest

Newly Fired Teacher Allegedly Writes How Much He Likes Young Children. Read The Federal Arrest Affidavit.

Document titled 'United States District Court Criminal Complaint' involving Patrick Russell, related to offenses concerning child sexual abuse in Broward and Palm Beach counties, filed in the Southern District of Florida.
We have obtained the federal affidavit in the arrest of a St. Andrew’s Boca Raton teacher.

BY: ANDREW COLTON | Editor and Publisher | BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The affidavit filed by FBI Agents and federal prosecutors leading to the arrest of now fired St. Andrew’s School (Boca Raton) teacher Patrick Russell is as disturbing as it is disgusting. Russell, who lives in Deerfield Beach, was arrested by the FBI late last week as he walked outside of his home.

While BocaNewsNow.com is publishing the complete affidavit below, we are sanitizing what we write here. We note that the language used in the federal affidavit is explicit. Russell allegedly received and/or viewed a huge number of images of children engaged in inappropriate activity, then commented on how much he likes seeing older children with younger children. Agents in Ohio were led to Russell after his information allegedly appeared on another suspect’s phone. Federal prosecutors allege that Russell used the name “Jack C” on a private communications app called “Zangi.”

St. Andrew’s immediately responded to our request for comment on Friday, reporting that the school fired the teacher who was also a JV coach. There is NO indication or allegation at this time that any St. Andrew’s student was victimized by Russell. The FBI declined to comment further than acknowledging the case filing Monday morning.

Read the complete affidavit below. We have not redacted anything. We stress that this is extraordinarily graphic, but believe it is imperative that parents and members of the community know that this suspect — who is innocent until proven guilty — was teaching children at one of the area’s leading private schools.
