PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Riviera Beach man is dead after a high-speed motorcycle crash at the intersection of South Jog Road and Parkside Green Drive in Greenacres Sunday evening, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office in a statement to BocaNewsNow.com. The crash was reported at 7:36 p.m., with the rider pronounced dead at the scene at 7:44 p.m.

Deputies say the motorcyclist, Jahime Wright, 22, of Riviera Beach, was traveling northbound on South Jog Road at a high rate of speed when he approached the Parkside Green Drive intersection. A 2021 Honda CR-V, driven by Rosana Hernandez-Teran, 49, of Greenacres, was making a left turn from southbound South Jog Road onto Parkside Green Drive when the front of Wright’s 2004 Suzuki GSXR 600 violently struck the right front of the Honda. The impact sent the CR-V spinning counterclockwise before it came to rest facing northbound.

After the collision with the Honda, police say that Wright’s motorcycle continued and struck the driver’s door of a third vehicle — a 2022 Nissan Sentra driven by an 18-year-old which had been stopped at the stop sign on Parkside Green Drive facing westbound. Wright was ejected from the motorcycle and came to rest on the sidewalk north of the impact area, where Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews pronounced him deceased. No one else suffered serious injuries.

The investigation continues. No charges have been filed.
