Police Remain In West Delray Beach Community.

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A shooting in Polo Trace, a community in West Delray Beach, left one person seriously injured Wednesday. PBSO continues to investigate the shooting Wednesday afternoon. Police say there is no threat to the public.

Sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that a man in his 30s or 40s was shot in the head. He survived the gunshot and was rushed to Delray Medical Center. His condition is unknown Wednesday afternoon.

Police say they know everyone involved in the shooting and are working to determine what happened. The shooting was contained to one specific area although it’s unclear if that’s in a house, a car, or on the street.

Police tape is blocking access to the scene according to multiple tipsters.
