This time, it’s The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel at 1790 South Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach. The inspection on June 15th led to multiple violations, but did not result in the restaurant being shut down.
Per BocaNewsNow.com policy, the following is the unedited list of violations as logged by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation:
High Priority – Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Flip top cooler: turkey (46F – Cold Holding) Observed overstocked above fill line of pan. Per operator, not prepared or portioned today. Per operator, out of temperature for approximately 30 minutes. Operator cut portion in half and placed in lower portion of cooler; customer self service cooler: egg salad (45F – Cold Holding); chicken salad (45F – Cold Holding); tuna salad (45F – Cold Holding) Per operator, not prepared or portioned today. High Priority – Vacuum breaker missing at mop sink faucet or on fitting/splitter added to mop sink faucet. Splitter attached at mop sink. **Warning**
