BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The family of the eight year old boy who climbed a fence and drowned in a neighbor’s pool earlier this week is turning to “GoFundMe” to obtain funds for his funeral. His body was found by a Boynton Beach Police drone. GoFundMe asked BocaNewsNow.com to share the following plea from the from family:

“Javonte Rahming was a true jewel to our family. He loved to laugh and always found ways to make those around him smile. His playful spirit and love for Spiderman brought joy to everyone who knew him. Javonte had a special connection to water, and his energy was infectious. He was always eager to play, explore, and share his happiness with others, making every day brighter for those around him.

Tragically, Javonte passed away in a drowning accident. As his aunt, I am reaching out to our community for support during this incredibly difficult time. Our family is heartbroken, and we are doing our best to honor his memory and give him the farewell he deserves. The loss of such a vibrant and loving child has left a void in our lives, and we are leaning on each other and our community for strength.

We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses and provide support to our family as we navigate this loss. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference. Please help us honor Javonte’s memory and support his loved ones as we come together to remember the joy he brought into our lives.”
