The warning: if you plan on celebrating the weekend holiday with alcohol, don’t drive.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division is conducting a DUI Saturation Patrol on July 3, 2026 from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM and July 4, 2026 and July 5, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM,on major and secondary roadways throughout the Palm Beach County and surrounding districts.
Deputies will conduct high visibility enforcement of all traffic violations, with an emphasis on removing impaired drivers from our roadways.
Why do the police not enforce the with the same commitment all the time? There are almost daily stories of traffic violations including drunk drivers. Our police should care enough about the public to aggressively check for intoxicated drivers, not only during holidays.
