New voter information cards are arriving in Palm Beach County mailboxes.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Palm Beach County elections officials tell BocaNewsNow.com that they are sending out updated Voter Information Cards to every registered voter in the county, giving people a head start before the August 18 Primary Election. The card in your mailbox will spell out your address on file, your party affiliation, your voting districts, your precinct, and exactly where you’re supposed to show up to vote.

“These voter information cards provide an important opportunity for every voter to verify that their registration information is accurate before the Primary Election,” Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Wendy Sartory Link said. “Whether you’ve recently moved, changed your name, or simply want to confirm your voting information, we encourage every voter to review their card and make any necessary updates as soon as possible.”

Here’s why it’s important to check information, including party registration: Florida runs closed primaries, meaning only registered Republicans vote in Republican primary races and only registered Democrats vote in Democratic primary races. If you want to switch teams before this cycle, you’ve got until Monday, July 20, to do it. The mailing also comes as Florida’s congressional district lines have shifted, so some voters may find their congressional district, precinct, or even their assigned polling place has changed since the last time they voted. Elections officials are urging everyone to double check that information rather than assume nothing’s different.

If you vote by mail, know this: standing Vote-by-Mail requests didn’t carry over forever. Requests made before 2025 expired after the 2024 General Election. If you haven’t renewed since then, you’ll need to submit a new request by 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, to get a ballot mailed out for the Primary. Voters can check or update any of this information at VotePalmBeach.gov through the Voter Dashboard, or by calling the Supervisor of Elections Office at (561) 656-6200.
