UPDATE 4:15 p.m. — The Boynton Beach Police Department continues to be non-responsive to a request for information regarding the shooting.
BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A man was shot in the torso Saturday night in Boynton Beach. He was rushed to an area hospital where his condition is unknown Sunday morning.
While the Boynton Beach Police Department did not respond to a request fo information Saturday evening, BocaNewsNow.com has learned that the shooting took place around 7:30 p.m. within the city limits. It was not immediately clear if the incident was inside of a home or outside. It is unclear if the victim knew the gun person.
Sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that while the man was seriously injured, he was able to speak with first responders. The same sources suggest he was shot once.
