BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Raton luxury real estate brokerage has filed a defamation lawsuit against a Pennsylvania developer, accusing him of orchestrating a smear campaign that branded the company a “fraudulent” scam operation. Quad Realty Investments, doing business as The Signature Real Estate Companies, and its subsidiary Signature One Luxury Estates just filed the complaint in Palm Beach County Circuit Court. The defendants: Arnold Galman and his firm, Galman Group, Ltd.
According to the lawsuit reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, Galman — founder and chairman of the Pennsylvania-based Galman Group — directed materials to be distributed to residents of an unspecified community starting around July 10, 2024. Those materials, the suit claims, falsely labeled the brokerage’s operations as fraudulent and a scam. The complaint alleges the defamatory statements reached more than a thousand residents and were seen by numerous real estate professionals and other businesses in the process.
The lawsuit claims defamation took place twice: once against each plaintiff company. The complaint argues that the statements were made either with knowledge they were false or with reckless disregard for the truth. Attorneys for the brokerage argue the statements amount to defamation because they attack conduct incompatible with operating a licensed real estate business. The suit contends the false claims caused real damage to the Signature brand and its goodwill in the competitive South Florida luxury market.
Kristen King Jaiven of Nishad Khan P.L. in Orlando is representing the plaintiffs. Neither Galman nor Galman Group has filed a public response to the allegations.
