Stephen Hakim Of Delray Beach Charged… Police Believe There May Be More Alleged Victims.
DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman he met on Hinge facing is sexual assault charge — and investigators fear there are additional victims. Stephen Hakim of the 5600 block of West Atlantic Avenue allegedly met a woman on the dating app, brought her to his apartment, then assaulted her after she fell asleep.
Hakim, according to a police report, drives a black Tesla and lives in an apartment that is “bare.” He allegedly gave the woman alcohol. She told police that the alcohol made her feel sleepy. She remembers Hakim massaging her, and then believes he engaged in an unwanted act.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit Tuesday is asking for the public’s help in identifying anyone who may have had encounters with Stephen Hakim. Investigators believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward. He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail several days ago. He is now free on $25,000 bond.
