BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Florida Atlantic University’s Foundation has three new faces on its board of directors. Susan Ball, Michael Gray and Craig Weiner were recently approved by the FAU Board of Trustees and will each serve three-year terms that started July 1.
“The FAU Foundation Board plays a vital role in advancing Florida Atlantic’s mission by strengthening philanthropic support for the university’s students, research and programs,” said Brian Poulin, FAU Foundation Board chair. “We are pleased to welcome these new members, whose leadership, expertise and commitment will help expand opportunities across the university and larger community.”
Ball, an FAU alumna, is legal advisor to Cross Country Healthcare’s CEO and board of directors and was twice named a “Top 50 Corporate Counsel” worldwide by OnCon Icon Awards. Gray, a partner at Jones Day, made Forbes’ inaugural 2024 list of “America’s Top 200 Lawyers” and is known for handling mass litigation and employment cases. Weiner, a South Florida real estate developer since 1977, founded the Holocaust Learning and Education Fund with his wife Barbara and leads the Holocaust Museums of South Florida on the FAU and Nova Southeastern campuses.
The foundation also brought on three ex-officio members: FAU Student Government President Lance Moore, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Boca Raton chair James Sadowsky, and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Jupiter chair Richard Kollmeyer. The volunteer-led FAU Foundation Board oversees fundraising and manages nearly $500 million in assets as the university’s fiduciary steward of donor gifts under the Division of Institutional Advancement.
