BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boynton Beach woman already on probation is facing new charges after deputies say she called 911 with no actual emergency, using the line instead to protest being kicked out of an apartment. Brittany Ann Caldarola, 30, was arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and charged with misuse of 911 services, a misdemeanor.
According to the arrest report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, a deputy was called to the apartment for a domestic disturbance after residents asked Caldarola, a guest, to leave. Unhappy with being told to go, Caldarola pulled out her phone and dialed 911 even though there was no emergency taking place, deputies say. When the deputy asked what she was doing, Caldarola reportedly said she was calling 911 — and was overheard on the call telling the dispatcher she was standing right next to a PBSO deputy. The deputy — standing right next to Caldarola — confirmed with the PBSO dispatch center that a 911 call had, in fact, come in.
Because Caldarola used the emergency line for a non-emergency purpose in the deputy’s presence, she was arrested. Making matters worse for her, Caldarola was already on probation for trafficking in stolen property.
Caldarola was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail late Saturday where she remains Tuesday morning.
