Landon, according to GoFundMe which reached out to BocaNewsNow.com, is in need of stem cell therapy. This is what Landon’s mom posted to the fundraising site. A link to the campaign is below.
>> My name is Alexandra, and I’m a mom of 4 fighting every single day for my 6-year-old son, Landon, who has profound autism and significant speech delays. Like so many parents in this community, we have spent years searching for therapies, treatments, and anything that could help our son connect more with the world around him.
After extensive research and prayer, we decided to pursue stem cell therapy for Landon. Since beginning treatment, we have seen progress we once only dreamed about — increased eye contact, better understanding, improved engagement, more independence, and most emotionally of all, hearing him begin to put words together for the very first time.
These treatments are incredibly expensive and are not covered by insurance. Between the procedures, travel expenses, therapies, missed work, and ongoing care, the financial burden has become overwhelming for our family. But as parents, we cannot stop fighting for our son and the future we know he deserves.
