BocaNewsNow.com received a tip this morning that an investigation was underway into a burglary at the fire house at 4661 Pheasant Way near Military and Clint Moore Road. We soon learned the tip was largely correct as Palm Beach County Fire Rescue confirmed the incident and issued this statement:
“PBCFR personnel at Station 52 discovered a vehicle burglary and theft from another vehicle overnight. The incident was immediately reported to PBSO, which is conducting an investigation. We are cooperating fully and reviewing station security.”
It was not immediately clear if the burglary took place while firefighters and rescuers were on a call. Sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that a woman in Boynton Beach was detained a few hours after the incident and may be connected. We are awaiting an update from PBSO.
