UPDATE #1 at 11:29 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2026: BocaNewsNow.com has learned from sources connected to the investigation that the male victim was found alive with blood coming from his head when police arrived on the scene near the rear of the TravelPro building in Boca Raton. He was, according to sources, in cardiac arrest. He was rushed to Delray Medical Center. It is not immediately clear when he died. His identity has not yet been released by police.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Boca Raton Police Department Wednesday announced that it is investigating a death that occurred Monday in the area of 6500 Park of Commerce Boulevard. It’s unclear why it took the department 48 hours to release information.
Here is the statement issued by Boca Raton PD:
“The Boca Raton Police Services Department is investigating a death that occurred in the parking lot of 6500 Park of Commerce Boulevard on Monday, July 27, 2026. Between 8:20 a.m. and 9:10 a.m., there was a domestic disturbance in the parking lot between a male and a female, involving a silver Mercedes SUV.
At some point, the 38-year-old male was struck by the vehicle, causing fatal injuries. Anyone who was in the area during this time frame or who may have information related to this ongoing investigation is encouraged to contact Officer Felix at (561) 620-6163.”
