BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Voters didn’t agree but the City of Boca Raton needs a new, modern police services building — replacing the current building that is decades old. As we’ve previously reported, the current building at 100 NW Boca Raton Boulevard was built before DNA was a regular part of investigations.
The City of Boca Raton is holding several community “conversations” about the police building and potential replacements. According to a City of Boca Raton statement:
“These interactive sessions are an opportunity to learn about the project, hear directly from staff, ask questions, and provide input as the planning process moves forward. Each meeting will begin with a presentation followed by small group discussions covering:
• Review of Police Department facility needs and potential locations
• Funding options and considerations
• Community priorities and public safety needs
• Questions and community feedback
Your participation will help inform the Community Advisory Panel as it develops recommendations for the City Council.”
