PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — At least two people were killed in a horrific head-on collision Saturday afternoon in South Bay on U.S. 27. BocaNewsNow.com has learned that a tractor trailer and a smaller vehicle hit each other head-on.
Two adults were confirmed killed at the scene. At least two teens, seat-belted and in the smaller vehicle survived. It’s unclear if the teens are the children of the adults. The teens were airlifted by Trauma Hawk to Saint Mary’s Medical Center. Their injuries are considered critical.
The identities of those killed were not immediately released. We expect an update from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office once their investigation is further along.
At least 15 units from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue were dispatched to the scene. The crash was first reported to 911 dispatchers around 3:22 p.m. Check back for updates.
