Pipers Glen Crash Boynton Beach
Traffic is at a near standstill on Military Trail near Pipers Glen Boulevard in Boynton Beach around 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

UPDATE #2 at 3 p.m. — We have learned the following from PBSO: The crash happened just before 7:20 a.m. at the intersection of South Military Trail and Pipers Glen Boulevard. Deputies say 22-year-old Cameron Bachour was driving a 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E south on Military Trail, in the middle lane, approaching a green light. At the same time, 58-year-old Michael Rosenblatt was crossing the road from east to west, outside the marked crosswalk and against the pedestrian signal.

Investigators say Rosenblatt walked into the path of oncoming traffic and Bachour couldn’t stop in time. The right front of the Mustang struck Rosenblatt, throwing him to the roadway. Bachour’s car came to rest in the middle lane just south of the crash site, while Rosenblatt landed in the outside lane. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue took Rosenblatt to Delray Medical Center with critical injuries. Bachour and a teenage passenger in the car were not hurt.“ Both Bachour and Rosenblatt live in Boynton Beach, according to police.
