DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The arrest count in Delray Beach’s Seven Bridges just rose with DUI and child neglect charges filed against a homeowner. Daniela Giraldo, 31, of Moriset Court in the G.L Homes gated community was taken into custody on August 20th by Boca Raton Police.
While the arrest report continues to be processed, booking information and citations reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com appear to tell at least part of the story. Giraldo is charged with one count of DUI, one count of refusing to submit to DUI testing, and two counts of child neglect “without great bodily harm.”

Citations issued by police indicate officers stopped Giraldo at I-95 and Glades Road around 7 p.m. on Thursday evening. She did not have her license in her possession, according to police, and later refused to provide a breath sample after she was taken to the police station. It’s unclear what initially led to her arrest — we expect that information once the probable cause affidavit is processed by the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts.
We have learned that Giraldo requested a public defender and was additionally found “not indigent.” Her home in Seven Bridges is valued at $2.1M and she is listed as an owner, according to the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser.
Several Seven Bridges homeowners and residents have been arrested over the first years of the community’s existence for federal and state crimes.
