Caruso was arrested by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement last week and ch.by1 arged with child sex abuse and kidnap. He’s been held in the Orange County Jail for several days.
Caruso is accused of engaging in sexual activity with members of his family who are minors. We are again publishing the arrest affidavit below. Part of the alleged criminal sexual activity took place in Orange County, according to investigators. Court records indicate the judge told Caruso that he is only allowed to return to Orange County for court appearances.
In addition to the $160,000 bond, Caruso was told to surrender his passport and passport card — both were turned in on Friday. He is also not allowed to possess weapons. Previous court records indicated that Caruso did possess weapons in his home.
Prosecutors argued against Caruso’s pre-trial release. It is not immediately clear where Caruso will go between now and trial. His extreme high-profile may create issues for him returning to his Palm Beach County home. He’ll be back in court on September 8th.
