BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Two men are dead after a high-speed crash at Jog Road and Woolbright Road in Boynton Beach Sunday morning, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened just before 6:45 a.m. Investigators say a 2025 GMC Sierra pickup driven by 43-year-old George Edward Armas was heading north on Jog Road at “a very high rate of speed” as it approached Woolbright Road. At the same time, 77-year-old Mark Alan Resnick was driving a 2017 Audi A6 westbound on Woolbright Road at Jog Road.

Police tell BocaNewsNow.com that the front of Armas’s truck slammed into the driver’s side of Resnick’s Audi. The impact spun the Audi nearly 90 degrees, leaving it in the northbound lanes of Jog Road. Armas’s pickup then rode up and over the Audi, rolled, and came to rest in the southbound lanes.

Both drivers were killed. Deputies say impairment is considered a contributing factor in Armas’s driving. Resnick, of Boynton Beach, was wearing his seatbelt. The crash remains under investigation.
