DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Flash bangs were heard Wednesday morning in part of Delray Beach where the FBI conducted a raid.
BocaNewsNow.com has learned the raid took place in the area of Lake Ida and Barwick Road. Witnesses say they heard screams of “FBI” and loud explosions. Some saw smoke in the area and claimed they heard gunfire.
Special Agent Willie Creeh confirmed to BocaNewsNow.com that “court authorized activity” took place in the area but denied that shots were fired. There are no reports of injuries in the area of the operation.
No information was provided regarding arrests — if any. It will likely be several days before information regarding the operation is unsealed if it leads to — or is part of — a federal prosecution.
