BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Boca Raton Police Department Tuesday says it has made a human trafficking arrest, and is asking other potential victims to come forward. >>The Boca Raton Police Services Department is seeking additional victims following the arrest of 51-year-old Maximiliano Buitrago, in reference to an ongoing human trafficking investigation.
Boca Raton Police partnered with the Boynton Beach Police Department and the Palm Beach County Human Trafficking Task Force after information was received from Boynton Beach Police concerning the possible trafficking of an intellectually disabled adult victim in Boca Raton in July of 2025.
Boca Raton Police detectives determined a relative, 51-year-old Charlie Pardieck, of the victim was paid to transport the victim to a studio along North Federal Highway in Boca Raton so Buitrago could photograph the victim’s feet, legs and hands. Buitrago informed Pardieck the photos would later be sold to third parties for sexual gratification. The victim was left alone with Buitrago for two separate sessions. During one of the sessions, the victim advised both she and Buitrago were nude and Buitrago inappropriately touched her.
Boca Raton Police obtained arrest warrants for both Buitrago and Pardieck, and on September 16, 2026, they were both taken into custody with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service and the Boynton Beach Police Department. Buitrago and Pardieck are charged with Committing Human Trafficking for Commercial Sex Activity of a Mentally Defective Person and Use of a Two Way Device to Facilitate a Felony. Buitrago and Pardieck remain in the Palm Beach County Jail.

Buitrago was previously arrested by the Boynton Beach Police Department in July of 2026 on human-trafficking related charges involving a minor. During their investigation, it was revealed Buitrago posted an advertisement, offering payment for photos of feet and modeling sessions, near a middle school. The content created was intended to be sold to third parties for sexual gratification.
