PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A JetBlue flight from Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CT, made an urgent landing at Palm Beach International Airport Sunday when a man suffered a major medical event and became unconscious.
BocaNewsNow.com has learned that the incident occurred on JetBlue Flight 1241 which departed BDL at 8:17 a.m. and was supposed to land at PBI (DJT) at 11:27. The plane, however, was cleared to land early. It touched down at 11:14 a.m.
Rescuers immediately boarded the plane and initiated emergency medical care for the man believed to be in his 50s. He was taken from the plane rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital.
His condition was unclear early Sunday afternoon.
BocaNewsNow.com acknowledges that the airport in West Palm Beach is now known as “DJT,” but like most airlines, we continue to refer to it as both PBI and DJT.
