BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A huge number of Boca Raton Firefighters spent much of the hot overnight battling a fire in a warehouse near Glades Road and First Avenue.
Smoke was seen billowing from the one floor building just before midnight. That led to more than 15 fire and rescue trucks being sent to the scene. On location, firefighters found a multi-building warehouse area with smoke apparently coming from more than one building.
While fire was found, it’s unclear as of 6 a.m. what was burning. What is clear is that fire professionals extinguished the flames — then spent hours dealing with “hot spots” and ventilating smoke. Making matters worse — extreme overnight heat.
City and State Fire Inspectors were called to the scene, as was Boca Raton Code Enforcement and an electrical inspector. Check back for more information later in the day.
