Christmas Tree.
The honors came in the 2026 International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA)/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards, announced Oct. 5 at the group’s 71st annual convention in Tucson, Ariz. The city took two golds: best single-page printed materials for the 4th of July Celebration and best promotional poster for its Murder Mystery Dinner. Silver went to the Veterans Day Ceremony’s single-page printed materials and to the 4th of July Celebration’s outdoor billboard and signage. The 100 Ft. Christmas Tree event guide earned bronze.
“Community events are an essential part of what makes Delray Beach such a special place to live, work, and visit,” City Manager Terrence Moore said. He credited the Parks and Recreation team, along with city staff and leadership, for delivering what he called engaging, high-quality experiences for residents and visitors.
The Pinnacle Awards are considered one of the leading international recognition programs for festivals and events. This year’s competition drew entries from North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and beyond, with awards handed out in 67 categories covering everything from marketing to emergency preparedness.
