In Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton, and Beyond, The Dog Problem Continues. So Does (In Our Opinion) The Dog Owner Problem.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — There are laws, rules and regulations regarding pets in public places, but never mind those silly requirements in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and across Palm Beach County. Dog owners know those rules don’t apply to them. Or so it seems that’s what they think. It’s Sunday! Welcome to our latest edition of Boca Rudeton.

We start this edition of Boca Rudeton at Carmela Coffee at 5560 North Military Trail in Boca Raton. That’s where Blondie and her huge dog seem to be getting the very attention they both need. We have nothing against the dog — it is a dog and has no idea where it is — but we do question why Blondie thought it was okay to bring her pooch into a restaurant. That’s seemingly a violation of federal law that prohibits non-service animals (and we mean real service animals, not service animals ordained by Amazon) from being inside establishments serving food. (And of course, maybe this dog is a highly trained legitimate service animal).

At “Bagels With” Deli in Delray Beach, this woman with a pink hat clearly wants attention. It seems the attention, however, is going to her dog with an orange scarf. Again, animals are not allowed in restaurants. We’ll let you know if charges are filed. If you can identify the woman, let us know.

At Boca Raton Town Center Mall, the once high-end shopping center now the equivalent of a trashy zoo, the animals are everywhere. Simon Property Group (NYSE:SPG) should be proud of what it’s accomplished. As for these animals: maybe they’re hiding but we see them! The two dogs under the table outside of Victoria’s Secret. The secret is out: this is why it’s so much better to shop online.

Also at Boca Raton Town Center Mall: why walk your dog outside (where it belongs) when you can shop and maybe let it pee at the same time? God love the mall.

At Famous Deli on Atlantic Avenue in Delray, we congratulate the woman who apparently just gave birth and is holding her baby close to her stomach. Oh my god! The baby is a dog! Who would have ever thought?! Woman-with-baby-that-is-a-dog, you should absolutely get a sling and bring that baby into a deli. Oh wait, maybe your baby’s first words will be, “my mommy is a scofflaw!” (Or, of course, maybe the dog is a highly trained service animal and absolutely allowed in a restaurant or store because it provides lifesaving functionality).

To parking now and the Whitworth Farms Publix on Hagen Ranch Road in Boynton Beach. Driver of Red Lexus station wagon with Florida plate BJV79, why are you parking diagonally in a no-parking zone?

And outside Stanton Optical — we’re serious — in Boca Raton, this Ford Explorer apparently has a driver with some vision issues. Maybe that’s why it’s parked diagonally over two spaces. If you know the driver of the vehicle with Florida plate AW44EX, you may want to encourage them to have their eyes re-examined.

So who is our winner for this edition of Boca Rudeton? There’s no question. It’s the woman with the dog in Carmela Coffee. Because everyone wants a dog with their drink. What does she win? It’s our new book: “I”m Blonde, My Dog Is Big, And I Don’t Care About Anyone Around Me.” It will soon be available at Amazon — the same place you can buy a vest that proclaims your dog is a service animal.
