BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Got somewhere to be this week? Leave yesterday. The Florida Department of Transportation has 24 projects and closures on its Palm Beach County list for Oct. 9 through Oct. 16: 15 major construction projects, plus nine maintenance, utility and agency jobs tucked into the back of the report.

That’s the whole count this week. Palm Beach County didn’t update its road and bridge construction list, so this report covers FDOT projects only, but…

Woodfield Is Still A Self-Absorbed Mess On Clint Moore Road

The Woodfield Country Club facelift, which has caused major traffic problems on Clint Moore Road between Florida’s Turnpike and Jog Road, continues. No amount of Botox is likely to solve the Woodfield problem anytime soon. And yes, because we asked, Palm Beach County is looking into what appears to be the illegal placement of Woodfield security cars in the middle of Clint Moore Road. We may soon publish the name and phone number of everyone who lives in Woodfield so you can share your feelings about their facelift. (The community’s facelift, not the resident’s individual facelift — although that’s between you and the person). But we will start with these phone numbers: HOA Management for Woodfield: 561-994-9989; the Woodfield Concierge: Call 561-995-5200 (perhaps they’ll bring you a snack while you sit in traffic), and the idiot Woodfield Security guards sitting on Clint Moore: 561-997-9975.
