In a statement provided to BocaNewsNow.com, FBI Spokesperson Amanda Ortiz said, “I can confirm that the FBI was conducting court authorized law enforcement activity in the vicinity At this time, we do not have any further details to provide.”

While the FBI isn’t saying specifically what agents were doing, BocaNewsNow.com has learned agents were operating in two separate locations in the community of million dollar houses built by GL Homes. In one location, agents were asking about a specific homeowner. In another location, agents appeared prepared to enter a home but ultimately did not. It is unclear if the activities were related.

As many as ten unmarked federal vehicles were seen staging in the community with several Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Deputies nearby. Local police departments often provide backup when federal agents are performing their duties in South Palm Beach County. In the unrelated but recent FBI raid involving Attorney Darryl Kogan, a Boca Raton officer initiated a traffic stop on Darryl Kogan while FBI Agents entered his home. Kogan was recently charged with receiving child pornography.

In Wednesday’s Seven Bridges activities, agents appeared to focus on a home that is owned by an LLC and rented. The other activity was apparently related to another resident. NO charges have been filed, no one was arrested, and there is no documentation in PACER alleging any crime has been committed by anyone targeted. However, Seven Bridges is no stranger to federal agent activity. From Medicaid fraud to other financial crimes, several Seven Bridges homeowners have been arrested, indicted, charged, or otherwise subjected to federal inquiries over the past decade. The community sits on Lyons Road between Clint Moore and Atlantic Avenue.
