PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you’re heading northbound on the Florida Turnpike — or planning to head northbound — know this: the Turnpike is shut at Jog Road following an overnight crash.

BocaNewsNow.com has learned the crash was first reported at 2:11 this morning. FHP was on the scene minutes later and shut down the road. It is unclear why the Turnpike is still shut as of 5:45 a.m. — this was not reported to be a fatal crash.

While this is not affecting traffic in south Palm Beach County, it may affect your ability to head to PBI/DJT airpot and points north. Backups are growing as the morning commute starts. Southbound lanes are not affected.
